The Region

The Royal Gorge region spans Canon City, Fremont County, and the Arkansas River Valley in southern Colorado. Known as the "Climate Capital of Colorado" with year-round mild weather, the area draws visitors for world-class attractions: America's highest suspension bridge, the Royal Gorge Route Railroad, Class IV whitewater rafting, Skyline Drive, the Dinosaur Experience, Holy Cross Abbey Winery, and historic downtown Canon City. It's where small-town charm meets big adventure.

The Challenge

With dozens of attractions, tours, lodging options, and dining spots spread across multiple towns, visitors struggled to plan trips to the region. Information was scattered across individual business websites, social media pages, and outdated tourism sites. The region needed a central hub that could showcase everything the area offers, help visitors build itineraries, and connect them with local businesses—without competing with individual attraction websites.
